Castle Bay Design Studio prides itself on its ever-growing connection to the community in which we both live and work. Over the years we have continually looked for creative ways to support local efforts to engage and enrich the lives of the youth within our community by leveraging our expertise in the design and construction industry paired with relationships with like-minded individuals and local businesses to create exciting, dynamic, and long-lasting outdoor spaces for the enjoyment of many for years to come.
American Legion 194 & Kids Safe Zone
Alongside our friends at Mastercraft Builder Group, we combined our expertise, resources, and relationships to conceptualize, design, and construct a large custom park space for the children attending the Kids Safe Zone program at AL194 here in St. Augustine. The Alton Green Memorial Centennial Park features a gated entry plaza, a large pavilion gathering space, a wiffle-ball/kickball field, various concrete play tables including table tennis and checkers, and a landscaped perimeter inclusive of butterfly gardens and fruit trees.
St. Augustine Yacht Club Youth Sailing Center
We have been heavily involved over the years with the St. Augustine Youth Sailing Center, both as parents of children in the Youth Sailing Program, as well as professionally in support the much-needed expansion efforts as the program grows. We assisted the Yacht Club with pro-bono design consulting services for the site planning, programming, and graphic visualizations of the future Youth Sailing Center facility and grounds.
St. Augustine Youth Services
Castle Bay has joined a powerful group of community leaders and consultants who have come together to assist SAYS with an expansion of their St. Augustine based campus featuring a new Independent Living Village to provide at-risk youth a place where they can be counseled, coached, and cared for in a family-style therapeutic group home. Castle Bay has provided this local non-profit with pro-bono design consulting services related to entitlements, site planning, and programming.
