Castle Bay Design Studio led the master planning, programming, and visioning for this 135-acre, multi-sport training, and event facility in northeast Florida with the goal of becoming a regional “first of its kind” and a nationwide destination for youth sports programs, amateur and professional training events, amateur to professional showcase events and as a collegiate preseason destination venue. Driven by the client and investor interest in developing a large, multi-sport complex that would not only function as a state-of-the-art Northeast Florida sports training facility but also play host as a premier destination for collegiate athletic programs across the Nation seeking a facility that leverages Florida’s mild and advantageous wintertime climate while possessing the ability to locate and sustain the needs of their various preseason training programs for periods up to one month.
