PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Leading the design of this new $15 million dollar public park, Castle Bay worked with the City of DeLand to create a unique, multifaceted, and multigenerational park space on the outskirts of DeLand, which has been designed to ensure the City is exceeding the demands of its ever-growing population boom.

In addition to a synthetic turf multipurpose soccer/football field and a synthetic turf baseball field, Castle Bay provided programming, theming, and design for custom park entry gateway features, internal wayfinding signage, a 1-mile looped trail system, custom pavilions overlooking a large stormwater pond positioned against a natural woodland backdrop, and a variety of plazas, walkways, and other park user amenities.
